The "Will Not Vote (For You)" List
I hereby declare that, regardless of any previous thoughts or convictions, I will vote against any candidate, measure, proposition, etc., that deigns invade my privacy with a recorded propaganda phone message.
Upshot: Call me and you will lose a vote to the other side.

I've been reading about dirty election tricks lately. There's a non-zero chance that that obnoxious "Vote for X" phone call came from the campaign against X.
*sigh* I guess I'll go back to hanging up on them before I even hear what the call's about.
