How I scared my daughter before Halloween
There are some TV shows we just don't watch with our three year-old daughter. C.S.I. and House, for example, are shows that are just a little too graphic for her. I'm not saying that based off of parental guesswork; she's told us so herself.
However, we've usually been fine with Life, since it's mostly talking and even the dead bodies aren't shown that much. However, the beginning of the episode we were watching, "Did You Feel That?", started out with one of the characters accidentally getting stabbed through the hand with a pencil. It totally freaked my daughter out.
So we turned on one of her favorite shows, Good Eats. She nearly cried in fright again: It was an episode parodying Sweeny Todd.
